In Rhine-Kreis Neuss, the number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus continues to evolve. As of April 15, 2020, the district has reported 99 cases, with a total of 522 infections since the outbreak began.

On specific dates, the number of cases varied. On April 5, there were 205 cases, and on April 10, the number dropped to 155. However, the latest data does not provide information about the current number of cases, recoveries, deaths, or individuals in quarantine.

As for recoveries, a total of 411 people have recovered from the infection across the district. Additionally, 2,729 individuals have been released from quarantine as they did not show any symptoms after the 14-day incubation period.

Unfortunately, there has been an error in the reported number of deaths. The press office of the Rhine-Kreis initially stated that 8 people have died from the disease. However, the correct number is 12.

Currently, 316 people are in quarantine as suspected cases, based on the recommendation of the district health department.

The geographical distribution of infected individuals is as follows: 30 infected individuals reside in Neuss, 19 in Dormagen, 14 in Meerbusch, 12 in Kaarst, 9 in Grevenbroich, 7 in Jüchen, 6 in Korschenbroich, and 2 in Rommerskirchen.
