The city of Saarlouis is set to host a new mobility course aimed at improving the mobility and quality of life for its residents. The course, titled "Reclaim your mobility!", will take place from August 20, led by instructor Silvia Münchhausen, and will be held in the rooms of the Catholic Family Education Center at Ludwig-Karl-Balzer-Allee 3, from 10:30 to 11:15 am.
The course is designed to provide a low-threshold access to improved mobility, catering to individuals who may be mobile only due to stiffness or pain, or those who are afraid to get down on the floor. The focus of the course will be on active and passive stretching, strengthening, and targeted muscle activation.
The course is organised by the senior moderator of the city, the Catholic Family Education Center Saarlouis e.V., and the women's representative of the district of Saarlouis. Participants are encouraged to wear sports clothing for the course, as all other materials will be provided.
The course will introduce participants to stretching exercises developed by Liebscher & Bracht, a method known for addressing musculoskeletal issues via special stretching techniques that promote flexibility and joint function. The instructor will also teach the technique of fascia rolling massage.
The course will include movement sequences designed to improve long-term mobility. However, specific details about the schedule for these Liebscher & Bracht exercises in mobility courses, as well as registration information, are not directly available. For registration and detailed course information, it is recommended to check with local Volkshochschule (adult education centers), fitness clubs, or health studios in Saarlouis that offer mobility or Liebscher & Bracht training.
If participants are experiencing severe pain, they are advised to contact the instructor by phone at 0174-9868827 before signing up. Registration for the course can be done at the Catholic Family Education Center Saarlouis e.V. by phone at 06831/43637 or by email at [email protected].
