Event Showcase in Freiburg: Sharing Intimate Perspectives and Special Knowledge on Day-to-Day coping with Prostate Cancer

On October 1, 2025, the University Hospital Freiburg will host a significant event for men with prostate cancer and their relatives. The highlight of the day will be the presentation of the book "Early Enough! Yes! Living with Prostate Cancer".

This book, edited by Prof. Dr. Christian Gratzke, Medical Director of the Department of Urology at the University Hospital Freiburg, aims to encourage those affected, facilitate exchange, and ease the confrontation with the diagnosis. It combines personal experiences with comprehensive information on diagnosis, therapy, and everyday coping.

The book features so-called "patient journeys" - personal experiences of men with prostate cancer. These stories offer insights into the challenges and triumphs faced by those living with the disease.

A panel discussion is planned, featuring several prominent guests. Fritz Keller, former president of SC Freiburg, and Peter Fischer, long-standing president of Eintracht Frankfurt, are expected to attend. Other guests include Sascha Purket, goalkeeper trainer of SV Elversberg, and Peter Feierabend, a publisher.

The event takes place in the auditorium of the Department of Gynecology at Hugstetter Straße 55. Admission to the book presentation is free, and registration is not required.

For more information about the event, please visit www.uniklinik-our website.de/buchvorstellung-frueh-genug.html. This presentation promises to be an invaluable resource for those affected by prostate cancer, offering hope, support, and practical advice.
