Federal Health Agency Disputes Study Financed by Nike with Revised Evaluation of Transgender Health Care Procedures for Minors

Loosened Leash on Transgender Youth Treatment: HHS Report Challenges Nike and Media Narratives

In a surprising shift, the Department of Health and Human Services under Secretary Bobby Kennedy Jr. has released a new report that buckles trends set by transgender advocacy groups, media, and potentially corporations like Nike, which have allegedly backed transgender youth studies.

The groundbreaking examination published on Thursday unveiled that sex-change surgical procedures and other interventions on minors carry "significant risks" yet have "scant evidence of benefit."

Ain't it a breath of fresh air to hear a dose of objective, science-backed info instead of politically-slanted narratives peddled by outside groups and their allies in the media?

The HHS report scrutinizes puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and surgeries and concludes that these procedures often cause "irreversible physical or physiological," effects. Science-based conclusions? More like a dream come true!

This new review is reminiscent of the Cass Report from the UK, which came to a similar conclusion. It seems like a no-brainer that researchers and officials listening to scientific facts can deliver outstanding outcomes, huh?

With President Donald Trump fresh off his re-inauguration, his executive order titled "Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation" just a week old, the HHS report aligns perfectly. Trump's order rules out funding "gender affirming care" for kids—a relief considering its potentially devastating consequences.

The HHS report accents on the ethical implications of pediatric medical transitions, also touching upon the paucity of evidence in current clinical practices. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Director of the National Institutes of Health, pointed out that "our responsibility is to safeguard our nation's children, not expose them to untested and irreversible medical treatments."

Honestly, if only this team had our back during the COVID-19 pandemic, perhaps we'd have made better decisions based on facts instead of political maneuvering, courtesy of Anthony Fauci. How much better off we'd be as a nation?

Not only undermining the agenda of transgender activists, most Democrat Party politicians, and major media organizations, this recent report is another strike against Nike. Although Nike hasn't commented on whether it bankrolled a study on the athletic impact of puberty blockers on children, the very idea is alarming.

We've reached out to NIH and HHS for comment on the report's implications for Nike but haven't heard back as of print.

** (our website) has also reported on Nike's continued silence surrounding the allegations.*

Corporations and research groups were willing to put children at risk for treatments with little evidence of benefits and serious, irreversible side-effects. Such reckless experiments were driven by political agendas. It's truly disheartening that these so-called "treatments" harmed countless kids. And it's disheartening that some of America's most influential corporations might have played a part in funding the damage.

  1. Science-based conclusions from the HHS report on transgender youth treatment question the benefits of sex-change surgical procedures, puberty blockers, and hormone therapy, citing significant risks and irreversible effects.
  2. Reminiscent of the Cass Report from the UK, this HHS report challenges the ethical implications of pediatric medical transitions and highlights the paucity of evidence in current clinical practices.
  3. In the realm of health-and-wellness, mental-health, and sexual-health, the HHS report adds to the policy-and-legislation conversation, with its conclusions potentially impacting the approach to transgender youth treatment within general-news and politics.
  4. The report's findings and their implications for corporations like Nike have sparked concern over the funding of untested medical treatments and the prioritization of scientific evidence over political agendas in the health sector.
