The principle of progressive overload is central to Heidi's approach. This means lifting heavier weights, doing more repetitions, or working out more frequently as one gets stronger. For instance, when 12 repetitions feel comfortable, it's time to increase the weight and go back to six to eight repetitions.
Heidi's workout focuses on small muscles like the biceps, triceps, and deltoids. Each move in the circuit is to be done for 30 seconds. However, for beginners, it's recommended to start with six to eight repetitions of each move instead of 30 seconds.
