In the quiet town of Schneverdingen, Germany, an unsettling incident occurred at the Tannenhof nursing home on October 8th. An 81-year-old resident was potentially involved in a scare involving a suspected attempted sexual assault.

The police are currently investigating the incident, and so far, no connections have been established in relation to the case. The suspect, described as a man approximately 1.65 meters tall with a slim build, slender hands, and large black eyes, managed to escape without being caught. He was reportedly wearing a distinctive green-blue bodysuit with a white stripe on his arm or chest, known as a Morphsuit.

The crime allegedly occurred in the early morning dawn, and the suspect entered the resident's room through the open balcony door. An employee of the senior home saw the suspect running away on the street shortly after the incident. The police have ruled out a possible link to the frequent burglaries in Schneverdingen.

The nursing home has taken immediate action to ensure the safety of its residents. Caregivers have been reminded to close the balcony doors after briefly airing the rooms. The senior home is also installing a camera system to enhance security. Moreover, the incident will be discussed at the home's board, and both employees and residents have been sensitized about the incident.

The police suspect that the incident was a spontaneous act by a man who might have been wearing the costume at a party beforehand. They have not reported any similar incidents in the Heidekreis area before. The police's prevention team is available for security consultations, especially for seniors. Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact the police at (0 51 91) 938 01 04.

It is worth noting that the suspect spoke German without an accent. The police have not established any connections in relation to the incident so far, and they have not released further details. The nursing home and the local community are hopeful that the perpetrator will be found and brought to justice.
