Free Mammograms for Women 40+ in Nizhny Novgorod Until Oct 20
The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Oncological Dispensary is offering free mammographic examinations for women aged 40 and over until 20 October. The initiative, part of the 'Bust-bridge' project, aims to raise awareness about breast cancer and promote early detection.
The 'Bust-bridge' project, now in its 10th year, kicked off with a round table discussion on 7 October, titled 'Bust-bridge: saving lives for ten years'. Women can register for free examinations by calling and using the code word 'Bust-bridge'.
In addition to free examinations at the dispensary, discounted mammograms are available at private clinics partnering with the project. The project, supported by the government and Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod region since 2015, seeks to combat cancer through early diagnosis.
The 'Bust-bridge' project will conclude on 20 October with a final event at the Culture Center 'Record'. Women are encouraged to take advantage of the free and discounted examinations to prioritize their health and help combat cancer.
