From Shark Tank to Global Success: First Defense Nasal Screens

Entrepreneur Joe Moore introduced First Defense Nasal Screens in Season 2 of Shark Tank. The product, now a multi-million dollar business, operates in 50 countries and is particularly successful in the Middle East and Asia.

Moore's innovative nasal filters, which reduce 99% of allergens, have gained global traction. They come in three sizes, ensuring comfort and unrestricted airflow. Made of 100% breathable, lightweight material, they are easy to apply and do not require additional equipment.

During his Shark Tank pitch, Moore asked for a $500,000 investment in exchange for a 10% stake. He ended up securing a collective offer from three Sharks: $750,000 for a 30% stake, plus a 15% perpetual royalty. Notably, Robert Herjavec made the biggest offer in Shark Tank history, proposing to buy the entire business for $4 million, but Moore rejected it.

First Defense Nasal Screens, now a global success, started with a Shark Tank pitch. Despite a significant offer, Moore negotiated a deal that allowed him to maintain a majority stake in his company. Today, the product continues to make a difference in the lives of allergy sufferers worldwide.
