Sascha Karolin Aulepp, Bremen's Senator for Children and Education, expressed concern over the distraction caused by smartphones, hindering learning and preventing students from socializing and moving during breaks. Phones should be switched off and kept in pockets during school hours. Staff members will ensure compliance, with exceptions made for medically necessary devices.
