In Motion Design Recalls 98,350 Evermore Surprise Eggs Over Mercury Poisoning Risk

In a recent safety alert, In Motion Design has announced a voluntary recall of 98,350 Evermore Surprise Eggs. The toys, produced by Evermore Confections, have been found to contain dangerous levels of mercury in their toy airplanes. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has banned the sale of these eggs nationwide, effective October 2025.

The recalled Evermore Surprise Eggs come in vibrant yellow, pink, or green wrappers. They were sold at various retail stores, including 7-Eleven, Horizon, Speedway, and Murphy, between March and April 2025 at a price of around $10 each. The CPSC warns that lead, a toxic substance found in excessive amounts in these eggs, can pose serious health risks, particularly to young children if ingested.

Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled eggs immediately and contact In Motion Design for a full refund. To facilitate the recall process, consumers are asked to destroy the toy airplanes and send a photograph of the destroyed products to In Motion Design. It is crucial to note that no injuries or incidents related to this recall have been reported to date.

In Motion Design's recall affects approximately 98,350 Evermore Surprise Eggs. The company, along with the CPSC, emphasizes the importance of consumer safety and encourages all affected individuals to participate in the recall. By doing so, they help ensure the safety of children and prevent potential health issues related to lead exposure.
