FD&C-classified dyes, governed by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA), have raised some concerns. While the FDA ensures there's "a reasonable certainty of no harm" to consumers in the proposed use of these synthetic dyes, the organization acknowledges that complete safety can never be guaranteed.
