Left-Wing Criticism Instigated by Alleged Brain Issue of Candidate Fetterman

From our website, Joe Concha discussed the ongoing rift within the Democratic Party as they grapple with dwindling approval ratings, shared his views on comedian Andrew Schulz's 2024 elections predictions, and explored Mel Gibson's resurgence in Las Vegas on 'Fox & Friends First'.

Once upon a time, when John Fetterman suffered a stroke during his Senate campaign, the Democrats and their media allies were adamant that challenging his fitness to serve was abrasive and unacceptable.

Fast forward to now, the tables have turned.

Jumping into the fray, New York magazine, a steadfast Democrat organ, posted a damning exposé on Fetterman, with his staffers—past and present—alluding that he should not hold the position of Pennsylvania’s senior senator, and instead seek assistance for his alleged decline in mental faculties.

FETTERMAN IN THE SPOTLIGHT: HEALTH AND FAMILY DRAMA SPARK A FIRESTORM OF CONTROVERSY ONLINE

While their piece doesn’t present a hard-hitting "gotcha" moment to warrant anyone stepping aside, it is a mixed bag of anecdotes concerning his temper flare-ups, or secluding himself, perhaps hinting at medication compliance issues. Ultimately, New York magazine assembled a collection of seemingly insignificant observations, creating more of a molehill rather than a mountain.

However, the question lingers—why, two years after sweeping aside similar behavior, has a liberal news outlet suddenly thrust the senator’s alleged decline into the spotlight? What has changed?

New York magazine's article herself provides an answer with this line, "The constant disputes over Israel, which appeared to bring Fetterman further into himself, coincided with setbacks in his recovery regimen."

One cannot help but notice that this isn't a mere coincidence. Fetterman's unwavering support of Israel, America's ally, and his other moderate positions have placed a massive target on his hoodie sweatshirt.

Castigating Israel's defensive war against Hamas is merely one of the progressive shibboleths that Fetterman refuses to blindly embrace. Yet, it might be the most crucial one. According to progressives, he is backing genocide.

Likewise, his utterly reasonable and logical stance that not every statement from President Donald Trump necessitates a cataclysmic response directly contradicts the Democrats' insistence that Trump has already engineered autocratic fascism.

It's quite amusing that the one Democrat who remains undisturbed by Trump is the one they label as mentally unstable.

It's equally astounding that this yellow journalism surfaced just days after the White House Correspondents Dinner, where the press subtly admitted their failure to cover Biden's clear unsuitability for the White House.

Now, they attempt to persuade us that they have seen the error of their ways, learned their lesson, and are willing and ready to expose Fetterman. To be clear, they want us to overlook the fact that they wanted Biden in office and have no intention of seeing Fetterman ensconced in the same position.

This article is nothing more than a hit job, slinging mud from disgruntled staff members who are enraged that their boss refuses to comply with the anti-Trump resistance agenda.

Conservatives have greeted Fetterman's flirtation with centrism with enthusiasm, but also caution. For instance, after enduring criticism for meeting with then-Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth, Fetterman still voted against him. So, it's not even Fetterman’s votes that have resulted in him becoming a pariah in progressive circles; it's genuinely his rhetoric.

And that's what truly matters here. Fetterman's transgressions involve violating the progressive worldview, not the party platform. It's not enough for him to caucus and vote with them; he must also harbor their unyielding contempt for Israel and all things Trump.

OPINION: KYRSTEN SINEMA NAILS IT AGAIN – THE MEDIA'S HIT PIECE ON FETTERMAN REEKS OF BITTER REVENGE

Former Senator Kyrsten Sinema, once a Democrat with her independent spirit propelling her outside of the party, eloquently articulated her sentiments on social media, posting, "I wish I was surprised anyone would publish an obvious vendetta." We all wish we were surprised as well.

The Republicans are triumphing in this spectacle. The more dirt the far-left Democrats hurl at the sedate-minded, they appear grow more and more wacky and out of touch to the American public.

The crucial lesson drawn from this preposterous hit piece is that it once again demonstrates the ineffectiveness the liberal media has become.

Ten years ago, this story would have triggered a seismic shock wave through the halls of Capitol Hill, leading to demands for Fetterman's resignation. Back then, they might even have succeeded in removing him. But not in today's world—it's merely noise at this point, and the truth remains elusive.

Bravo, New York magazine, but we all can see through this, and Senator John Fetterman isn't going away anytime soon.
