The Bliesdorf Chapel, with its unique architecture and solemn atmosphere, is currently hosting an exhibition titled "Women in Resistance against National Socialism". This thought-provoking display sheds light on the critical role women played in resisting the Nazi regime, highlighting personal stories, acts of courage, and the diverse ways women contributed to the resistance movements during that period.

The exhibition, which opened on August 2nd, has attracted a significant number of visitors, indicating the relevance and interest in this often underrepresented aspect of resistance history. The event will continue daily until August 16th, from 11 am to 5 pm, and will close with a religious service.

The closing event on August 16th will be a poignant evening, accompanied musically by cantor Suzan Burkhardt. The service will be led by Astrid Faeling from the Evangelical Women's Work.

To complement the exhibition, Sabine Stryga, the director of Neustadt's city library, has curated a book selection offering further literature recommendations on the topic of women's resistance against National Socialism.
