New lead respiratory physician overseeing operations at Harburg Hospital's respiratory department
Meet the New Boss at Heimfeld's Harburg Hospital
Hey there! Guess what, folks? A fresh face is gracing the halls of Harburg Hospital, located on Eißendorfer Pferdeweg. Dr. Frank “The Doc” Escherich, a seasoned medical veteran, has stepped up to the plate as the Chief Physician at the Intensive Care Center, replacing the late Dr. Marty Bach (that's what the locals called him), who sadly passed away earlier this year.
Dr. "The Doc" Escherich has an impressive resume - since 2007, he's been a pivotal player in shaping the Intensive Care Center, a bustling hub that treats approximately 2,500 patients every year.
Did I mention this center is more than just a typical ICU? It's got a soft spot for those battling severe respiratory issues, and it goes the extra mile for patients with neuromuscular diseases that impact their respiratory muscles.
As for the future, Dr. "The Doc" Escherich and his team aim to strengthen the collaboration between inpatient and outpatient intensive care. And if that weren't enough, they're also planning to advance the process of weaning patients off mechanical ventilation, a lifesaving move for plenty of our fellow townsfolk.
So, if you're one of our valued patients or a caring family member, fear not! Harburg Hospital's Intensive Care Center is more than ready to kick some healthcare butt! 💥🎉 #NewChief #HarburgHospital #HealthcareHeroes
Dr. "The Doc" Escherich's focus includes not only treating a wide variety of medical-conditions but also specializing in respiratory-conditions, making him well-suited to oversee the Intensive Care Center at Heimfeld's Harburg Hospital. Under his leadership, the hospital aims to expand its health-and-wellness services, offering other innovative treatments and care plans for its patients.
