Hamburg Stabbing Suspect Committed to Psychiatric Facility
A 39-year-old woman, who does not have a fixed residence and allegedly suffers from a mental illness, was ordered into psychiatric detention this weekend. The woman, who was recently released from a psychiatric facility in Lower Saxony, has been charged with attempted manslaughter in connection with 15 cases of dangerous bodily harm.
The incident took place on Friday at around 6:00 PM on platform 13/14 at Hamburg's main railway station. fifteen individuals were directly injured, and three others sustained other injuries, such as falls or shock.
