Renovation of the swimming pool in Norddeich, under the supervision of Dr. Becker Klink, has been completed
The Dr. Becker Clinic Northdeich has completed a 10-week renovation of its above ground pools, transforming the facility into a modern and inviting space for aquatherapy and fitness enthusiasts.
During the renovation, the clinic invested over 100,000 euros to update the pool's infrastructure. The old swimming pool lighting was replaced with sustainable LED grid lights, providing a brighter and more energy-efficient environment. The ceiling of the movement pool was completely renewed, and acoustic ceiling panels in a grid pattern were installed to enhance the acoustics.
The room height in the above ground pools is now at least 2.60 meters, providing a more spacious and comfortable experience for all users. The LED grid lights installed in the above ground pools are now dimmable, allowing for a more customizable lighting experience.
The clinic's experienced staff compensated for the loss during the closure period with comparable methods therapeutically. They are now ready to welcome guests back to the above ground pools, with Stefan Saathoff, head of Dr. Becker PhysioGym Northdeich, extending a warm welcome.
Clinic Director Bernd Hamann is glad to have brought the pool up to date and thanks the patients and staff for their understanding during the renovation. He is particularly pleased to announce that the aquatherapy course 'Course for Back Pain' for inpatients has resumed, as well as aquafitness classes for both patients and external participants.
The self-help group Rheumaliga is now meeting in the above ground pools of Dr. Becker Clinic Northdeich, providing a supportive environment for those living with rheumatic diseases. Additionally, the children's swimming course is now taking place in the above ground pools on Thursday.
Those whose rehabilitation fell into the closure period received a voucher for the Ocean Wave in town as a gesture of appreciation from the clinic.
The construction project at the swimming hall of the Dr. Becker Klinikgesellschaft Norddeich was led by the company Hartmann Architekten, ensuring a high-quality renovation. A new aluminum-coated insulation was installed in the above ground pools during the renovation, contributing to its energy efficiency.
