Rosselkhozbank's Yakutsk Branch Expands 'Farmer School' to Train SVO Veterans in Agribusiness

Rosselkhozbank's Yakutsk branch is expanding its 'Farmer School' project, aiming to train professionals for the agricultural sector. This year, six veterans of the special military operation (SVO) have been selected to join the program, which offers both theoretical and practical training.

The 'Farmer School', launched in 2020, is a federal project implemented by Rosselkhozbank. It aims to concentrate on rural districts, where the main potential of the agricultural sector lies, as emphasized by the bank's director, Vasily Timofeev. The training, conducted face-to-face, consists of 250 academic hours and includes lectures, internships at leading enterprises, and practical exercises.

Among the participants this year are SVO veterans like Nikolai Petrov, a teacher with a farm he wants to develop. The program lasts 2.5 months and provides opportunities for social adaptation and obtaining comprehensive knowledge in agribusiness. Graduates can also participate in the federal 'Agrostartup' program and compete for grant support. Upon completion, students will defend their business projects and receive diplomas for professional retraining.

The 'Farmer School' project, now including SVO veterans, is expanding its geography to rural districts. The program offers a comprehensive training experience, aiming to develop the agricultural sector and provide opportunities for participants to create their own businesses.
