Ready for a Lowdown on Your Holiday Health Options in Novosibirsk?
Cruising through the holidays in Novosibirsk, Russia? No worries, your health concerns are covered! Rostislav Zabotsky, the Regional Health Minister, announced that all clinics in Novosibirsk will be operational from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (local time) on holidays – between May 1-4 and May 8-11.
In spite of a minor dip in viral infection and flu cases of around 5-7%, the health situation in the region remains stable, as revealed during an official meeting of the regional government on April 28. So, whether you've got an unexpected health hiccup or just need a routine check-up, your local clinic's got you covered!
Not sure if you can make it during those clinic hours? Fret not! You can set up an appointment or summon a physician to your doorstep from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM through the government services, the unified registration office 122, or the Telegram chatbot. Appointments scheduled post-2:00 PM will be rescheduled for the following day.
For a toothache that just won't quit, trot off to either the 3rd Dental Clinic (Petuhova Street, 20) or the Regional Dental Clinic (Theatrical Street, 46). They're open 24/7, ready to banish your dental demons!
When it's a genuine injury you're dealing with, pop by one of the six 24/7 trauma centers discovered across the city:
- Serebrennikovskaya Street, 42
- Dzerzhinsky Prospekt, 44
- Mukacheva Street, 5/4
- 2nd Parhomenko Lane, 7
- Zorge Street, 47/1
- A. Nevsky Street, 9
- Heroes of the Revolution Street, 5
- 2nd Parhomenko Lane, 2 (for child injuries – a kids-only trauma center!)
Don't panic – emergency care and hospitals continue their round-the-clock operations during the holidays.
Even though you might think of calling an ambulance for non-emergencies (their number being 103), it's best to reserve this service for critical, time-sensitive cases, as emergency services are designed to provide immediate assistance 24/7, holidays included! No need to modify your vacation plans due to unforeseen health scares.
