The 37-year-old artist shared the news on her Instagram Stories on July 3, 2022, from her hospital bed. In her post, she revealed that she was diagnosed with an infection, but the specific type is still undetermined.
In her Instagram update, she joked about finally having a diagnosis for being "dramatic." Despite the health challenges, she maintained her sarcasm and sense of humor.
Jessie J expressed her dislike for being in the hospital and found it hard to breathe due to her current condition. However, she was relieved to confirm that it was not a blood clot.
The hospitalization occurred in the same ward where she was treated after her breast cancer surgery, which she had not anticipated. Recovery from the surgery has been the "most mentally challenging time" for the singer, she shared in a previous post.
Doctors are still trying to determine the exact nature of the infection. Jessie J discharged herself from the hospital last night and will continue her investigation as an outpatient.
