Strategies for Rebuilding Life Post-Trauma Experience
Revamped Article:
Embrace the beauty of restoration! For years, Father Sergio De Piccoli, a Benedictine monk, took in troubled souls - outcasts in society, those he saw as needing a haven to find themselves. This upcoming weekend, on the 14th and 15th, the intimate literary festival "Authors in Transit" will provide guidance on mending the shattered fragments that life bestows. Located in the charming hilltop village of Marmora, the association "Passing Places", in conjunction with the Cuneo bookstore Stella Maris, will serve as event headquarters.
"Kintsugi. Mending Life" serves as the festival's theme, where intellectuals, artists, and healers, both local and foreign, will congregate to address life's fractures - be they physical, emotional, or societal. The cracks will take center stage in this quaint village, with trauma tackled in a down-to-earth and proactive manner, offering tools to transform the current fragility, individual and collective, into resilience. What has been smashed will never be the same, yet from the re-united fragments, something new, often even better, emerges. This festival invites you to view the glass as half full, even when despair and inaction tend to present it as half empty.
