Sverdlovsk Delegation Studies AI-Powered Medical Unit in Altai
A delegation from Sverdlovsk region recently visited the Republic of Altai to study a modular reception unit, with a focus on AI-based medical devices. The visit aimed to explore trends in artificial intelligence in medicine and assess the possibility of replicating the unit in Sverdlovsk.
The delegation, led by Tatiana Savinova, visited a modular reception unit in Altai that is similar to one being constructed in Yekaterinburg, expected to be completed in 2025 and operational by early 2026. The unit in Altai spans 1,500 square meters and is equipped with advanced medical facilities.
During their visit, the delegation studied AI-based medical devices, including gadgets and a health-analyzing mirror. They considered the possibility of incorporating these devices into Sverdlovsk healthcare institutions. Meanwhile, volunteer medics in Sverdlovsk region have conducted over 600 actions and master classes in the first eight months of 2025.
The Sverdlovsk region is among the 21 Russian subjects building modular reception units this year, with the Yekaterinburg unit expected to be completed in 2025. The recent visit to Altai has provided valuable insights into the use of AI in medical devices and the potential replication of the modular reception unit in Sverdlovsk.
