Headline: Nauryzbai District's Infrastructure Development: Water Supply and Sewage System Progress and Connection Procedures

In the bustling Nauryzbai District of Almaty, progress continues on several fronts. The construction of a fire station in the Akjar microdistrict is nearing completion, adding a vital service to the community. Meanwhile, the district's infrastructure is undergoing significant changes, particularly in the water supply and sewage system.

Current Status

Major sections of water supply and sewage pipelines have been installed, and the construction is in advanced stages. The focus now is on connecting residential buildings to the new networks. Final testing and quality checks of the installed systems are underway to ensure safety and functionality.

Timeline

The project, which started in early 2025, is on track for completion by mid-2022. By the third quarter of 2022, the system will be fully operational with connection provisions. Residents will be able to request connection services shortly after the infrastructure completion, around late Q3 or early Q4 of 2022.

How to Connect

After the infrastructure is ready, residents will need to apply to the local municipal services or water utility provider for connection to the newly laid water and sewage networks. Applications typically require proof of residence and may involve a site inspection. Municipal offices will provide guidance on technical requirements and fees for the connection. Stay informed through local government announcements or official district administration channels for the exact dates and procedures.

Elsewhere in the district, new and safe roads are being created, and the Nauryzbai District, established six years ago, is home to 93 high-rise residential buildings constructed last year, providing homes for over 5,000 families. The gas supply coverage for residents in the district reached 98%, and the district's akim advised Lazzat Maksatova to participate in the "Budget Participation" program.

The "Budget Participation" program allows anyone to submit ideas for developing the urban environment, and 50 projects are planned to be implemented in the district this year. Previously, almost 80% of the district was not lit. Under the 'City Without Outskirts' program, LED lighting poles have been installed on 312 streets.

Residents can stay connected and ask questions via phone, ZOOM, WhatsApp, and mobile television stations. The district's akim promised to process all appeals received during and after the reporting meeting. Fifty-four electrical transformers were recognized as abandoned and transferred to the city's balance. Three more microdistricts are planned to have water supply networks laid in 2021. In a year, 35 streets with sidewalks were repaired in the district.

If you are a resident in Nauryzbai District, monitoring local news and directly contacting the district administration or water utility company will ensure you get accurate and timely information about when and how to connect to the new infrastructure.

The district's vibrant community, led by residents like Lazzat Maksatova and Yashar Mammedov, continues to shape the district's development. Their voices and active participation are essential in shaping the future of Nauryzbai District.

  • In alignment with the ongoing infrastructure development in Nauryzbai District, the focus on health-and-wellness and fitness-and-exercise can be introduced by suggesting residents to adopt healthier lifestyles with access to clean water, ensuring safety and functionality from the new water supply network once connected.
  • As science and technology advance, real-time information about the progress of the water supply and sewage system, connection procedures, and related health-and-wellness initiatives can be conveniently accessed through various communication platforms such as phone, ZOOM, WhatsApp, and mobile television stations, keeping residents informed and connected.
