The Sparkassenverband Baden-Württemberg (SVBW), the largest credit-based financial group in Baden-Württemberg, is seeking a dedicated and driven individual for the position of Associate in Audit - Audit Assistant (m/f/d) in their audit field service.

Job Description

In this role, you will assist in conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. You will help identify and assess risks within financial systems and processes, and prepare audit reports detailing findings and recommendations for improvement. Ensuring that operations and financial reporting adhere to regulatory standards will be a key responsibility.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a degree in economics, law, or a related field, or have completed the Sparkassen Fachprüfung with distinction. Reliability, high commitment, and flexibility are essential qualities. A structured working method, analytical and conceptual thinking, and strong communication skills are also necessary.

Practical experience in a Sparkasse or bank, ideally in credit business, accounting, or internal audit, is preferred. Strong teamwork, a confident appearance, and a strong service orientation are required. Candidates should also be willing to travel.

Training and Development

The two- to three-year assistant activity will train the candidate to become an association auditor. You will learn about the various business areas and corporate and risk management of the Sparkassen. Mobile working options and extensive further training opportunities are provided by SVBW.

Location and Responsibilities

Based in Stuttgart, you will mainly be active in the Heilbronn region in the field service. As an expert in the audit department, you will gain insights into all 50 Sparkassen in Baden-Württemberg. You will work in audit teams to conduct annual financial statement audits and audits of securities and deposit business. The audit department of SVBW is the statutory auditor for the Sparkassen in Baden-Württemberg, offering a diverse and responsible field of activity.
